Our mantra is to keep it simple. For this theme, we'd recommend picking one colour for the walls. Consider greens, browns, oranges or yellows as a good starting point.

Introducing an accent wall is a simple hack that works really well. Alternatively why not try this clever idea by Pretty in Print. The scalloping detail works well and is oh so dreamy. It's easy to achieve too. Believe it or not, drawing them on the wall using the top of a cereal bowl will do the trick nicely.
How about nurturing your artistic side and creating a mural? This sweet room idea with its bright yellow sun really makes us smile. It's super effective and you really don't need to be a Picasso to give it a go.
Start by making a template. Draw your preferred design onto paper, then cut it out and stick it to the wall in your chosen position. Lightly trace around it, using a pencil. Once that's done it's just a matter of adding the paint. Then step back and admire your handy work. Hey presto.
